Glen Garioch whiskey glass Glencairn. In the Old Meldrum community in Aberdeenshire is the whiskey producer Glen Garioch. The distillery is one of the first registered in Scotland, if not the very first, as there are notes as early as 1785. Older editions of Glen Garioch's whiskey have a lovely smoky tone, as they previously used self-produced floor malt. Recently this has been abandoned and since the 1970s this is a high quality distillery of Highland Single Malt Whiskey. This whiskey glass is of the Glencairn model and has Glen Garioch's logo and text engraved on its front.
