Boon Kriek beer glass is a classic Belgian beer glass designed for the renowned Brouwerij Boon in Lembeek, just outside Brussels. The brewery is one of Belgium’s most important producers of traditional lambic and has played a significant role in preserving the unique Belgian tradition of spontaneously fermented beer.
Lembeek is located in Pajottenland, an area that, together with the Senne Valley, is known as the historic home of lambic. Here, the beer is fermented using naturally occurring yeasts and microorganisms in the air, a brewing method that differs significantly from conventional beer production and gives lambic its characteristic tart and complex flavour.
Kriek Boon is a classic Belgian fruit lambic in which cherries are fermented together with the lambic beer. The result is a fresh and fruity beer with a distinct cherry character and a pleasant tartness.
